  This is a Presentation Wide Drop Point Hunter, a timeless blade shape.  Also,  once you try this Special San Mai Steel you will be surprised the difference it makes. 

This special knife has a crisp Full Height Hollow Ground Blade in Takefu’s Forged Shiro2 San Mai steel. During forging, Takefu utilizes a proprietary DPS (Depletion Prevention System) which adds a thin layer of Nickel between the Carbon Steel Core steel and the Stainless Cladding. The Nickel acts as a Barrier to stop carbon migration between the Carbon core and Stainless outer layers.  The addition of Cr (Chromium) and Ni (Nickel) also ensures microstructural grain refinement.

 Dan also added Anodized Titanium Screws and Screw Collars to this special piece! 

This Crotts Drop Point is a Full Tang Hunter with Gorgeous Maple Burl handles that are well contoured and really make for a secure grip.   

The Shiro2 San Mai Steel has a Perfectly Centered Core and this is one of the reasons it is so sought after.  Dan has added some comfortable Thumb Ridges and the overall feel of the knife is stout ~ very comfortable.
