Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to be a Direct Dealer for Daniel Crotts knives.
This is a Brand New Model just received from Daniel. Dan’s customers were asking for a larger knife for either Big Game skinning or deep Wilderness packing, so he has created this knife and it is making it’s debut here on Fort Henry Custom Knives.
The blade steel is the new Super Steel S35VN with a very high Satin finish. This is only the fourth knife that Dan has made using S35VN.
An added element ~ Niobium ~ in the steel matrix is supposed to provide a tougher steel composition than S30V without sacrificing any of the edge holding properties. And indeed I have found this to be true.
The overall feel of the knife is wonderful, large without being cumbersome. Very comfortable handle contours.
Hair shaving sharp (as expected) and comes in a tight RH Vertical Custom Kydex Sheath.
Daniel is not currently making many knives so I am lucky to have received a small order. Don’t wait or you will miss out.
