This Dan Crotts Drop Point has a crisp High Hollow Ground Blade ~ Hand Crafted from Takefu’s Forged Shiro2 San Mai steel. During forging, Takefu utilizes a proprietary DPS (Depletion Prevention System) which adds a thin layer of Nickel between the Carbon Steel Core steel and the Stainless Cladding. The Nickel acts as a Barrier to stop carbon migration between the Carbon core and Stainless outer layers. The addition of Cr (Chromium) and Ni (Nickel) also ensures microstructural grain refinement.
Beautiful, aged Vintage G-10 handle scales secured with Anodized Titanium Screws which allow the handle to be removed if desired.
Full Tang with comfortable Full sized Grip handle. The Handle on this Dan Crotts Drop Point is Contoured with a slightly thicker middle, it provides a very comfortable and Secure Grip with no hot spots.
