JAKUB SLIWKOSKY
Jakub Slikowsky is a young Engineer turned custom Knife Maker from Poland. Jakub has been making knives for over a decade and has been a Full Time Maker since 2018. Many of his blades have an inspiration in outdoor Indigenous blades. Without using a CNC machine or any computerized equipment, he has become known for his clean designs and attention to detail. Jakub has built up a loyal following in his native land of Poland and I am confident that he will quickly secure a place among Outdoor enthusiasts in the US.

This reimagined Puukko is a present day interpretation of a Traditional Pattern that has stood the test of time and is prized as the Ultimate EDC and Woods Knife by many Scandinavian peoples. More than enough blade for any Daily Cutting or Light Camping chore.
Jakub Hand Ground the D2 Blade ~ measuring .145 Thick with a Tested Rockwell of 61 Rc. It has a High Flat Grind and the blade bevel has a vertical Machine Satin finish on the Bevels and Blasted Flats.
The Custom Contoured Handle is a Hand Filling “D” shape, Thicker in the Middle and Rounded on top and bottom.
The gorgeous Stabilized Karelian Birch handle Scales have a Ton of Natural Grain and are held on with Stainless Pins with Brass Collars. Jakub also added a bit of Security that traditional Puukkos lack, look closely and you will see a Flared Forward Bottom Tang that acts as a Finger Rest.
This Jakub Sliwkosky Puukko comes with a Thick RH Leather Belt Sheath, Hand Stitched and Riveted (Sheath also made by Jakub)
