Making its debut here at The Fort is Chase Boatright’s New “Raider” Tactical Fixed Blade ~ a Tough Field / Backup Blade that will tackle any Camp or Tactical challenge.

The Prototype of this Model was gifted to a US Marine – which as a Marine I find very fitting blade
The Boatright Raider has a Robust .185 Thick 80CRV2 Steel Blade with a Dark Acid washed finish. Reminiscent of a wicked looking Persian blade or Pirate Short Sword, the Mid Height Hollow Ground blade was Hand Ground and the Custom Contouring on the handle help to provide a comfortable, secure grip.
This is a Tough Full Tang knife that is Comfortable but slightly overbuilt to accomplish extreme tasks.
Chase gave this one some Vintage Crosscut Canvas Micarta Scales with Bronzed Gulso Bolts and Custom perimeter Shoulder Contours to better fill the grip. Also, a deep forward finger groove and a Sharpening Choil all combine to create a very secure and comfortable (non abrasive) grip.
Chase Custom Molds each Kydex sheath and provides a Large Tek-Lok belt attachment which allows for a multitude of carry positions.
