I was lucky enough to meet Corrie at the NYCKS in 2011. I had been aware of his work for many years as he had been featured in the KNIVES Annuals several times and his work is very popular at the Art Knife Shows throughout the US. When he introduced me to his work his precision fit and finish astounded me, however the pricing for such high Quality knives with rare and exotic materials I found phenomenal.

This is a very elegant linear designed Gentleman’s front flipper called the XPlain Front Flipper
The blade was hand ground with a Custom Swedge from Alabama Forge Carbon Damascus.
Corries uses a Caged Bearing System so that the blade flips extremely smoothly with no wrist action necessary. Simply use your Fore Finger or even your Thumb to engage the Wide Front Flipper that extends out of the Frame.
The unique handle Multi Overlay is Marble Carbon Fiber on top of G-10 on Titanium.
The Liner Lock is early and very secure. Corrie has also given the Liner some Custom Filework all the way around the Knife.
The Backspacer also has beautiful Filework and an attractive Paua Shell Inlay has been inset into the lower section.
