I am very pleased to debut this new Custom Maker to the US market. Cobble Blade is a small Custom Workshop in the Ukraine who Specializes in hand crafting Fixed Blade / Outdoor knives and Axes. They do not use any CNC / Computers and craft each of their blades one at a time entirely within their shop.
This is another New Model from Cobble Blades ~ the Triton ~ a Discreet, Distinctive, EDC blade that will tackle any daily cutting chore. Want a blade that will effortlessly open packages, make Fine Skinning chores a breeze and anything in between, this is your knife.
This is a Tough, Full Tang design, slightly less than 1/8″ Thick ~ Hand Ground from Bohler K-110 Steel.
This European steel has properties equivalent to D2, it is widely known as a Superior Performer ~ it has a High Carbon and Higher Vanadium content which puts it at the top of the D2 cetegory!
The Blade has a Dark Stonewashed Finish and the Spine has a Unique Hand Applied Flint Napped texture.
Thick Double Layer Camo G-10 handle scales with Perimeter Traction Grooves to channel Dirt and Moisture away from the middle of the handle. This will provide a sure grip even under other than ideal conditions.
The Blade shape is a Traditional Drop Point and the Forward Kant to the blade angle will give a bit more strength to the cut. Professional Heat Treat provides a very respectable 61Rc. Perfect High Hollow Grind and Razor Sharp, Mirror Polished edge!
The Custom Sized Handle and Shape melts into your Palm. Slightly more than a Three Finger grip it has a slim feel and the Thumb falls naturally into the Thumb Recess on the Spine while the Flint Knapping texture does Double Duty as Thumb Ridges for added Security.
Complete with a Custom, Molded Concealex Neck / Belt Sheath
