Cobble Blade is a small Custom Workshop in the Ukraine who Specializes in hand crafting Fixed Blade / Outdoor knives and Axes. They do not use any CNC / Computers and they craft each of their blades one at a time entirely within their shop.

This is the Cobble Blade Forest Hatchet ~ an Overbuilt, Rugged, Outdoor blade that will tackle any Medium to Extremely Heavy Chopping and also everything from Fine Skinning chores to Jointing a Large Animal. This is a Super Tough, Full Tang design.
Hand Ground from Crucibles Particle M4 Steel ~ 5/16″ thick. M4 is one of the most Popular ” Super Steels” ~ well known for its unique combination of High Wear Resistance and High Impact Toughness. Professional Heat Treat with Cryogenic Quench provides a very respectable 63 on the Rockwell chart. Perfect Grind and Mirror Polished and Razor Sharp edge on this Cobble Blade Forest Hatchet!
This High End Crucible CPM M4 Blade has a Tested RC of 63 and an Abstract Textured / Heat Treated Finish and the Spine has a Unique Hand Applied Flint Napped texture.
Full Tang and Thick Brown & Black G-10 handle scales have a Three Dimensional Carving and Perimeter Traction Grooves to channel Dirt and Moisture away from the middle of the handle. This will provide a sure grip even under other than ideal conditions. The Generous Choil at the Rear of the Blade has been Radiused and Polished for Comfort and allows for a Close Grip for tighter work.
The Custom Full Size Handle Shape melts into your Palm. It has a Dramatic Birds Beak butt and Deep Forward Finger Guard, these combine to make an Extremely Secure and Comfortable Grip.
