Bob Dozier – Rare Buckhunter

 ~ Direct from the Maker from the NYCKS 2018 ~ 

  This is Bob’s Largest Folding Hunter – the Buckhunter    

Bob starts with thick Titanium scales but he camfers all edges so there are no rough spots. This one has a subtle Blue Anodizing as well. 

The Blade has a classic Bowie Shape and perfect grinds as only “The Doctor of D2″ can create. 

The integral Thumb Ramp has Security Ridges that rise just above the handle scales, just enough to enhance the grip. In the pic below, just behind the Thumb Ramp you can also see a section of the Large “T” Lock inside the Frame.   

This model has a Custom RH Thumb Stud. Bob mills out an interior section of the Ti handle and then insets a seperate Large Titianium piece Shaped like a Capital “T” ~ the head of this T is what creates a wide, secure & reliable lock.  This inset piece is also replacable!  

This is an Open Frame Construction frame with one small area of Black Carbon Fiber on the Butt, this helps to keep the weight down.

  And finally, Bob added his own deep carry pocket clip to the reverse side.

This knife is smooth and tough at the same time, not an easy thing to do!
