There are lots of standard models in the Dozier line up and each have aspects in common, ie. Full Tang, Handle shape, etc. And of course if you want something truly unique from Bob, he hand crafts a line that are cousins to the Traditional Loveless drop point with only the best handle materials, elegantly tapered, highly polished, wonderful to hold and behold and start at about $950.
This particular model represents the true Mid-line Custom of what Bob produces – I have only had a few of this model over the last several years!
This knife was made approximately 2005 and showcases a unique Custom Faux Bolster that Bob no longer offers on his knives.
This Loveless Style D2 Drop Point Blade has a Very High Hollow Grind and a fine distal taper. The Custom Burgandy Micarta Faux Bolster creates an upscale appearance against the Micarta handle.
Also, the micarta handles of this special Model are Much More contoured than other Dozier models and are bolstered with Maroon micarta. This package offers almost all the Bells and Whistles that could be Custom Ordered on a Dozier, without the $1,000 price tag!
Complete with a Custom Right Hand Kydex Belt Sheath and ready for the your next trek into the Wilderness.
