I have a lot of requests for Bob’s Hidden Tang models (which he still makes 100% by himself) and they sell very quickly when I am lucky enough to get one. For more than 40 years, Bob has continued to try to improve on his work.  This knife represents one of those evolutions.  This is a Dozier Classic ~ Spear Point Hunter

The special Blade on this knife is just a tad bit over 3/16″ thick ~ it has the world renowned Heat Treat that only the “Dr of D2” can offer.   The Stainless Guard is Expertly Silver Soldered so no moisture has access to inside the handle (this is a difficult process and most Makers do not even attempt this step any longer).

Below is a picture of an Heirloom piece that Bob made years ago ~ he recently sent it to me so that I can show my Customers actually just how Strong his Stick Tang knife designs are built! 

The Hidden Tang is a Full One-Half inch wide and is completely Heat-Treated to gain the maximum properties that can be had from the steel. A rectangular slot is machined in the handle to perfectly fit the tang. This eliminates the need to fill up the extra space with epoxy. Then just the necessary amount of epoxy, along with a Blind Bolt secure the handle for a lifetime of hard use. 

Through Decades of Experience Bob has refined the Contouring of his handles to be both Secure and Comfortable.   The single piece of Expertly Contoured India Sambar Stag is separated by Red, Black & Brass Spacers and it has a Delrin Buttcap that is Screwed onto the Tang Bolt. 

    This Rare Custom adds all the features of Bob’s upscale Classic line ~ built to last a Lifetime. 

Bob spent a week with the late Bob Loveless learning to make and improve on his Leather Sheaths. This knife showcases Bob’s Custom Wet Molded, Right Hand Leather Belt Sheath. The Sheath is made with an Internal Welt that Locks onto the Guard ~ this will not allow the knife to accidentally Fall Out ~ even if turned upside down and shaken!

You may spend more, but you will not find a better made sheath than a Dozier Leather Sheath.
