Jody is best known for his immaculate Art knives and for the elaborate engraving and inlays that he creates on his own and others knives. With this knife, Jody uses his talent for creating an artistically flowing design and creates a comfortable custom Skinner with excellent proportions and extremely clean lines.
This full tang skinner is made from D2 that Jody has an RC of 60 – 61 which will insure superior edge holding ability. Also, the hand rubbed finish that he has on this blade is far above what most makers will offer on D2. The balance point on this knife is in the palm, exactly where you want it for a skinner.
The Thumb rest area (and Jody’s Makers Mark on the spine) show off Jody’s artistic talent while providing just enough traction for a superior, comfortable grip.
This knife comes complete with a Schrap Custom wet molded Leather RH Belt sheath.
