Here is a model from Herb that I love, a tough looking Bullnose Skinner in Herb’s High Contrast Bird’s Eye Damascus 

This is a perfect sized, wide blade Skinner.  Herb forges his Bird’s Eye Damascus to have over 2,500 layers.  This knife also has a unique Fileworked spine that doubles as Thumb Ridges.

  The handle is made from Fossilized Sea Cow Rib bone.  Herb has worked with the natural shape of the Fossil to narrow the handle near the Finger Guard but leave it plenty thick at the butt, very hand filling and comfortable.  The Rib Bone has beautiful natural colors and intricate grain. 

 The Rib Bone handle is flanked by Nickel Silver Spacers and a gorgeous Stabilized Maple Burl spacer for color.  This knife has an amazing blending of rare natural materials.

 The Leather sheath has an exotic African Ostrich Leg Lizard Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
