Dew Hara grew up helping his famous Knife Maker Father, Koji Hara. Koji and Dew are known World Wide for their Art knives with detailed Hand Work and fine Materials.
Dew created this Special 1 of 1 Custom Folder called the Noah. The entire knife has almost too many Special Features to showcase adequately. The Flipping action of this knife is incredibly smooth due to the Caged Bearings and Excellent Balance of the Blade.
Starting with the Blade is Forged “Super Bold 2” Stainless Damascus with a Duplex Grind and Kiridashi Tip. Super Bold 2 is a High End, Powdered Mettalurgy Damascus that is known for both its Cutting Ability and its Beauty. The Complicated Grinds on the Stainless Damascus Blade are especially nice.
The Brass Scales has a Custom Splash “Kinpaku” on them created by masking the brass with a black oxide film and then “splashing” it. “Kinpaku” is Stamped 22k Gold Foil on Copper or Brass with Japanese Urushi Laquer.
This is a Liner Lock Flipper design with a nice Heft to it due to the Brass and Stainless Construction. The Liner Lock is Very Secure and smooth to release.
The ergonomics of this knife are wonderful, with a Stainless Steel Frame that has excellent Texturing and a Matching Brass Splash Backspacer.
An extreme Deep Set Titanium Pocket clip allows this knife to ride out of sight! The Clip is Marked with Dew’s Name and 1 of 1.
