This is a Rare Pattern from Herb, I have only seen three in the last few years ~ this is Herb’s Cowboy Bowie knife.
This special knife has Herb’s Birds Eye Damascus which is over 2,500 layers thick and a Wooly Mammoth Bone handle. This blade has an excellent Bowie shape with a bit of a Clip Point Grind and the expert Etch that Herb does brings out the beautiful Birdseye pattern very well.
The knife also has a Wide Oval Guard in front of the Stabilized Spalted Maple spacer. This is an amazing combination of materials.
The 20,000 year old Fossilized Wooly Mammoth Bone was retrieved from the Frozen Tundra of Russia and the beautiful color and grain are all natural. It has a thick Oval shape and feels great in the hand.
The Heavy Leather Belt sheath has an African Snake Skin inlay and it has a Removable Belt Loop so that the Sheath can also be carried in the Boot! Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
I love this combination on Herb’s knives. Such a Great Value in top quality materials.
