Hiroaki Ohta has been hand crafting knives since 1989 and began making Full Time in 1998. His folding knives are prized the world over for their precision and beauty. Hiroaki Ohta’s knives have been featured in the KNIVES Annuals and appeared in BLADE magazine last year.

This is one of the Largest models that Hiroaki makes ~ an uncommon Trail Knife with a Modified Drop Point. This is a Tough Full Tang Tang version that Hiroaki has made for me in the past and has proved extremely popular.
The Handles have been Custom Contoured with a Flare at both the Front and the Rear of the Handle.
Hiroaki makes sure every aspect of his knives are comfortable, he even takes extra time to Round off the Tang and Spine of the Blade so there are no hot spots.
Hiroaki hand ground the 1/8″ Thick ATS-34 blade with a perfect Full Height Hollow Grind and then gave it a beautiful Hand Rubbed Satin Finish. This will be one of the Sharpest knives you own!
Hiroaki’s expert Heat Treat that leaves the blade at 61-62 Rc. The Micarta Guard / Tang area is Sealed with a Waterproof Resin.
For the handle scales Hiroaki chose some great looking Linen Micarta that has Excellent Wood Like Grain.
Hiroaki makes the handles of his knives with the ultimate comfort in mind. His knives are super examples of Form & Function – no hand fatigue, no hot spots, superb steel.
Hiroaki also makes his own thick Leather Sheaths, Hand Stitched. On this one he has added a new feature ~ a Full Kydex Liner.
The knife is a perfect fit and you can hear the Knife “lock” into place due to the Kydex Liner, this knife will not even fall out if you turn the sheath upside down and shake it!
Hiroaki also made a Custom Desert Ironwood Sliding Lanyard Bead, not just for decoration! If you want to add more Paracord the Bead can act as a cinch if you place your hand through the Paracord.
You will not find a better value on a Full sized Custom Fixed Blade!
