I was very fortunate to begin working with several South African Knife Makers many years ago, I am continually impressed with the Quality of their knives and the value they offer. In my journey as a knife dealer several SA Makers have introduced me to other SA Makers and the list of quality knives that I sell from that country continues to grow.
The newest addition to my website is South African Knife Makers Guild member Johann van Deventer. His work has been featured in SA magazines devoted to Hunting but recently he has also worked hard at making folding knives of various kinds.

This is a wonderful NEW Model from JD Van Deventer. This big knife has a very unique appearance – this is the Kenpachi Tanto Flipper in carbon fiber.
The Thick Hand Rubbed Modified Tanto blade flips open absolutely effortlessly due to the IKBS system and JD’s precision balance on the blade.
Fully contoured Carbon Fiber/G10 handles, Deeply Milled with precision fit to the Titanium Frame. The toughest in materials for this powerhouse Flipper!
Johann has also added a Custom Titanium Backspacer to match the Titanium Liner.
The blade opens very smoothly and the Lock up is spot on and releases smoothly.
This one also has a Custom Titanium Pocket Clip that matches the Backspacer.
The Clip is set for Deep, Discreet carry and is anodized to match the backspacer.
Complete with a Padded Zipper Storage Pouch and Certificate of Authenticity.
