Last year during the chaos that is the Blade Show, I was intent to meet world renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral of CAS Knives. After talking with Claudio he introduced me to his good friend, also a Knife Maker ~ and that Maker was Mariano Yannoni. I was thrilled to see that Mariano still had a few knives on his table, so after speaking with him and inspecting his knives ~ I purchased everything Mariano had left! I am very proud to be able to offer his knives to my Customers.

Mariano Yannoni is clearly a Maker who enjoys Hand Crafting Solid Working knives, from Custom Fixed Blades to Robust Friction Folders. Mariano uses several kinds of Steel on his knives, but his favorite is the Special Hand Forged Steels that he gets from his good friend Claudio Sobral!
This Hand Forged Presentation Gaucho would be the main topic of discussion on any Hunting Trip or in Deer Camp!
This is an Elegant and Lightweight Partial Tang design. the Tang extends into the handle and is then inserted into a Black Micarta sleeve.
Hand Crafted with a beautiful Sambar Stag handle that is Fully Encased in a Black Micarta Perimeter and several Custom Copper, Carbon Fiber & Brass Spacers for some added warmth along with a Custom Brass Textured Bolster and Buttcap.
Full Height Flat Grind with a Razor Sharp Edge. This presentation knife also sports Claudio Sobral’s MDS Damascus Steel!
Marianno Hand Made the Custom Brass Bolster ~ he then Split it to show a intricate Feather Pattern interior, before forming it to Precisely Fit the blade Tang.
Marianno also chose to Hand File some Gorgeous “Infinity Vine” Filework to the entire length of the Spine.
This Presentation Gaucho is an immaculate piece ~ this knife would be a joy to use and is sure to Please with its Performance, as much as it does with its Appearance.
Complete with a Thick Leather RH Horizontal Belt Sheath (also made by Mariano) which holds the knife securely. It has tight stitching with Beautiful Finish Work.
