James Sponaugle is a Retired Tool and Die Maker.  The Tool and Die profession involves critical tolerances and quality work is paramount with each project.  

This is a beautiful Loveless Style Drop Point Hunter

• Hand Crafted from Magna Cut Steel
•  Mirror Polished blade with a Crisp Hollow Grind
• Custom Contoured Stabilized Redwood burl handle
• Fully Tapered Tang, Red Liners and a Lined Thong Hole
• Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Guard 
• Thick Wet Molded Leather Sheath 

This Sponaugle blade has an Labor Intensive Mirror Polished finish with beautiful Stabilized Redwood Burl handle scales that have Tons of wonderful Grain.   The  Tang is Precision Fit to the Stainless Guard.  

James has taken the time to give this Full Tang knife an added feature ~ a deeply Tapered Tang with Red Liners.  This is something that very few Makers add to their knives.  

 Deeply Contoured handle scales provide a very Comfortable Full Grip handle. 

James applies the same Extreme Attention to Detail in his new career as a Full Time Knife Maker that was required in his previous one.

Also, James Hand Stitches every Leather Sheath that he makes for his knives. This knife has a Thick, Wet Molded RH Leather Sheath.
