Description
PHILIP BOOTH
Phil came to Custom Knife making after being recognized as an award winning Artist in both painting and printmaking, making knives was really only a small leap. The art of knifemaking can bring so many mediums into one work of art. Drawing, sculpting, and photography, plus many hours of handwork using an assortment of tools and that is what Phil enjoys most. Phil made the cover of BLADE magazine a while back with his Hot Rod series of knives.

This is unarguably Phillip Booth’s most popular design ~ a small Scale Release Automatic called the Minnow

(I had a VERY hard time convincing my Wife that she could not keep it ~ this Minnow is a Catch & Release! )
The Slide Scale Mechanism to release this Auto is very discreet, Once you learn the trick the blade Fires Open in the blink of an eye! The Butterscotch Mammoth Tusk Ivory still shows some of the Craggy Exterior that once made up the outside of the Huge Tusk of a Wooly Mammoth.
Inside the Doug Ponzio Mosaic Damascus Bolsters you may discover hidden Dragons, Spiders, Anvils or Ancient Artwork patterns.
Incredibly Smooth and FAST ~ this knife is sure to bring a smile to your face every time you open it up! The CPM154 Blade was Hand Ground with a Full Height Flat Grind with a Hand Sanded Satin Finish.
Weighing only 3 Ounces, every surface of this little beauty has been expertly contoured and precision mated. The Frame is Hand Fileworked to add both beauty and extra Security in the grip. Note the Butt end of the Frame has an Integral Lanyard Keeper ~ a second Alternate Color Leather Lanyard is also included.
