This special knife is a Bob Loveless inspired “New York Special” design – in Miniature!  A Watch Pocket sized Gentleman’s Liner Lock with the Precision Fit and Finish that only a Master can offer.

The rich Amber Sambar Stag is on this Matsuno Mini New York Special is perfectly matched, each side has a gnarly character and a warm Amber colors. Kansie even Custom Contoured the Stag on the Presentation Side to allow for the Thumb to be able to access the Stud easily.  

The Mirror Polished ATS-34 blade on this Matsuno Mini New York Special has an excellent Detent and Floats Open effortlessly by use of the RH Thumbstud. The Stainless Bolsters are Satin Finished and Precision Fit against the incredible Sambar Stag Handle Scales. 

 The Liner Lock Engages with a soft sound and there is absolutely no play anywhere in the blade.  

 The Full Titanium Backspacer adds plenty of strength without adding extra weight. Note: there is a small Stain visible on the Backspacer, this was the way the knife was received from the Maker.
