This is a New Design from Dan, the Ultra Light Hunter ~ I have Only ONE in this Configuration!
To me, this knife is an excellent blend of a Personal sized EDC and a Small Game / Field N Stream blade ~ all in a very Lightweight Package. This special knife has Dan’s crisp High Hollow Ground Blade that is Razor Sharp and with it being Elmax, you know it will continue to cut!
This one sports an Custom Thumb Ridge Area on the Spine for Extra Security.
By design, the overall construction provides Excellent Strength yet due to the Skeletonized Handle & Stainless Screws the knife weighs Only 2.5 Ounces!
My opinion is that this is Dan’s most comfortable model. This particular Handle is Vintage Linen Micarta that will continue to Mellow with Age.
Dan does not make many knives these days so they are Hard to Catch!
Comes in a tight, Custom Molded RH Horizontal Cross Draw Kydex Sheath.
