Thys Meades Hand Crafted this incredible Mini Barlow with an expert eye toward Precision Fit & Finish. He chose tough Vintage Carmel Westinghouse and added an Elegant Japanese Mokume Federal Shield.
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily chore but elegant enough to stand out in any Collection. The Blade on this Thys Meads Mini Barlow has Superb “Walk and Talk” and the Half Stop is very secure. Extremely smooth with just the Right Amount of Spring Tension.
The Bohler N690 Blade has a High Satin Belt Finish and a Full Height Flat Grind. The Pivot Collar is Polished Copper and is a wonderful accent against the Mokume Shield.
The Joint of the Back Spring and the Frame on this knife is the Tightest / Most Precise Fit that I have ever seen.
This Thys Meades Mini Barlow is smooth and tough at the same time. A very affordable Custom Slipjoint that bridges the gap between Traditional and Modern!
