George Herron

George Herron was an amazing part of the custom knife community. He was well known for his amazingly designed and crafted stock removal knives. George specialized in skinners and hunting knives and has a significant collector following. He founded the South Carolina Knifemakers Guild, he was past president of the Knifemakers Guild, and in 1987 he was inducted into the Blade Cutlery Hall of Fame. Sadly, George passed away in 2007, but his legacy still runs strong.
