Michael Szczegot is a young maker from Poland. Known for his Rugged Outdoor, Hunting and Tactical designs, this example of his work showcases his talent.
This is a NEW Model ~ making it’s debut here at The Fort is Michael’s Warrior Model
The Hand Ground blade was crafted from Super Strong 80CRV2 steel and given a Cryogenic Quench. This steel has properties that make it unique among High Carbon Steels. It excels at Toughness and is widely known as a Superior Performer. It has a good amount of Carbon and a Higher Chromium content plus the addition of Vanadium for Stain Resistance. Given an Expert Heat Treat and Cryogenic Quench by Michael, it will excel at Edge Retention.
The blade measures a respectable .175 Thick and is 1 1/2″ Wide in the center. It has a Tough Stonewashed finish and an extremely precise Full Height Flat Ground blade that would make an excellent Slicer!
The Handle Scales are a supremely Tough Forest Pine Green Micarta that have a Custom Hand Sculpted Surface texture for an enhanced grip.
The Scales are attached with Torx Screws and Michael gave the the handle a Contoured Hand Filling Shape. Free Paracord Lanyard also included. The Handle also has an Exposed Hammer Poll area.
This is a knife that will tackle all Difficult Cutting or Light Camp chores with ease.
The knife comes with a Secure, Custom Molded Kydex Belt Sheath
The Removable Cordura / Kydex Drop Loop allows you to change / add other Mounting Hardware such a Titanium Mummert Pocket / Pants Clip (Sold HERE) or Tek-Lok should you prefer.
A true top shelf package ~ includes a Hand Signed COA, FREE Patch and Tube of Blade Protectant
