This is Rockstead’s latest Model, just recently released – this is the New Rockstead HIGO II model ~ an elegant yet Robust, Precision Framelock folder
This Rockstead HIGO has a Perfectly Ground Convex Blade of Solid YXR7 steel. I have seen thousands of knives ~ this knife has the most perfect Mirror Polished blade that I have ever seen. This is achieved through a Multi Step Hand Grinding and Hand Buffing process.
Rockstead uses the most modern equipment to maximize the qualities of the Blades – be it the perfect grind or the Heat Treat of the Steel! And each knife has an individual Serial Number.

The blade Floats open effortlessly, perfect detent and Excellent Secure lock up. One of the unique attributes of the Higo II is that it has a Replaceable Lock Face!
This updated Version also has a Solid Titanium Frame with Traction Ridges on the Front and Rear.
The ergonomics on this Knife are wonderful – Thumb Ridges on the Spine and the Frame aid the security but are still very comfortable.
Extremely impressive all the way around, a folder that looks great and would be a pleasure to use.
