This is Ramon Chaves’ Newest Ultramar 229 ~ an Overbuilt Framelock meant to excel in any demanding environment!
Excellent Smooth Action with great balance. Just the right Detent and this example also has a Hand Ground, Hand Sanded Modified Drop Point Blade!
The Tough M390 Drop Point Blade has a Mid Height Hollow Grind with a Deep custom swedge at the top.
The Spine has Deep Thumb Ridges that extend onto the Thick Titanium Frame.
The Extremely Thick Frame lock engages very securely ~ and this knife has a Replaceable Steel Lock Insert!
The Supremely Thick Titanium Frame and Backspacer are Fully contoured with a Uniform Stonewashed finish.
