Direct from BLADE 2011 I have a few select Folding and Fixed blade knives from LION Steel.
This is the SR-1 which won the Award at Blade 2010 for the Most innovative knife. A single piece of titanium was used to construct the frame of the knife! The knife handle is 3d machined and Anodized. The SR-1 feels fantastic in hand and extremely solid. Drop point blade design from German Uddeholm Sleipner tool steel, which has very similar characteristics to D2 steel.
The integral bar lock has a reinforced hardened steel replaceable head – super strong and reliable. The steel section is replaceable after years of use bringing the lock back into it’s original locking position. The SR-1 lock also features a rotating safety lock and over-extension preventer.
The knife comes attractively packaged in a Wooden Presentation box. The SR-1 comes with a removable titanium clip and utility tool.
