Phil came to Custom Knife making after being recognized as an award winning Artist in both painting and printmaking, making knives was really only a small leap. The art of knifemaking can bring so many mediums into one work of art. Drawing, sculpting, and photography, plus many hours of handwork using an assortment of tools and that is what Phil enjoys most. Phil made the cover of BLADE magazine a while back with his Hot Rod series of knives.
However, the knife for sale here is arguably his most popular design ~ he calls it a Button Lock / Automatic Minnow. I had a VERY hard time convincing me Wife that she could not keep this one!
With Gorgeous Lightening Strike handles and thick High Carbon Damascus bolsters and not to mention the incredibly smooth and FAST action ~ this knife is sure to bring a smile to your face every time you pick it up!
Weighing only 1.8 Ounces, every surface of this little beauty has been expertly contoured and precision mated. (Please excuse my Fingerprints on the backspacer)
The Titanium Frame has been polished and the Sterling Silver Lanyard Bead is a perfect match. (Note the Makers Mark on the inside of the frame)

This knife has never been used, carried or sharpened ~ only admired.
