Olamic Cutlery is a relatively new company based in California. They employ six Craftsman in Central Russia who hand forge and shape the blades. Each knife is made using only Russian materials. The Damascus used in each blade is a unique proprietary composition of 400 layer material that is high in Carbon with certain alloys added to provide impeccable edge retention and strength to the blade.
Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to be a Direct Dealer for Olamic Cutlery.
Personal Testimony: I have one of these knives that I have been testing around the house for almost a month, so far it has performed admirably and I have been very pleased with the edge retention of the Damascus blade.
This model is a traditional Russian Skinner in Olamic’s proprietary Damascus material. The wide Skinner blade is 1/8" thick and has an impeccable grind in a Lightening Strike Damascus pattern.
The beautiful Stabilized Wenge wood handle on this model is a popular traditional Russian handle material that has rich prolific grain and has been expertly contoured into a unique shape that just melts into your hand ~ so comfortable it must be held to be appreciated. In fact, the comfort of the handle and the way the thumb naturally settles into place in the cutout in the Spine is what made me immediately fall in love with this design!
The Leather Dangler sheath is Stitched and Riveted. Also the Dangler Loop may be removed and the knife worn directly on the belt.
Each knife is stamped with a unique Identification number. A packet of information as well as a Certificate of Authenticity with matching Serial number is included with each knife.
