This is an already very popular Knife from Nathan Carothers (aka: Carothers Performance Knives). This is Nathan’s Medium Chopper (MC) that was precision built with the toughest materials available.
This knife was too large to fit into my Light Box ~ so I went to my “Outdoor Studio” for this shot. LOL
This Model is a Multi Purpose / Full Tang Beast – the Hand Grip works as a Large Camp Knife when held towards the front with good balance and dexterity. When held towards the back it fully fills the hand and offers control and reduced hand fatigue for extended hard chopping.
This example has Belt Sanded Green Micarta handle scales with Deep Contouring for maximum grip comfort and safety. It has a Forward Lanyard Hole as used in Competition cutting and a Hidden Rear Lanyard Hole.
The High End CPM 3V blade on this Nathan Carothers Medium Chopper has Nathan’s famous Delta Heat Treatment and is a Robust .235 Thick ~ it has a High Hollow Grind and a Uniform Stonewashed finish.
Weighing 1 pound & 5 Ounces, this is a Very Stout knife with an excellent design. The Thumb Ramp & Ridges on the spine and the excellent Ergonomics of the handle make this knife a joy to hold.
This Nathan Carothers Medium Chopper will handle any Difficult Cutting or Light Chopping chore with ease.
