Mike Malosh of Chaser Handmade Knives needs no introduction as anyone who knows Quality Hunting knives or Scagel inspired cutlery is well aware of his work.
Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to be a Dealer for Mike Malosh custom knives
~ Direct from the Maker ~
Mike took a long hiatus from Knife Making to have a much needed Shoulder Surgery, so his knives are seldom seen for sale at this time. Also, Jack Mosher has officially Retired from Sheath Making, so these sheaths are the last of his wonderful work!
For those that enjoy a Traditional Hand Forged knife here is a gorgeous example of Mike’s work ready to go on your belt. This is Very Unique, One of a Kind Hunter / Skinner from Mike.
Wonderful, Thick Sambar Stag Handle with custom ordered Aluminum, Copper, Black & Micarta spacers for a very unique look. Mike has Custom Contoured the handle for a comfortable Hand Filling Grip. The Custom Copper Finger Guard will insure the knife stays securely in your palm.
The blade is Silver Soldered at the Tang and is Hair shaving sharp plus the Brass Guard is nicely contoured. Soldering of the Tang is something most Makers do not even attempt any longer, due to the complexity of getting it just right.
This blade is by far my Favorite Blade Shape that Mike makes. The Perfectly ground, Full Convex blade has a Zero Convex Edge that must be used to appreciate how Sharp it is.
William Scagel Style Stacked Handle and Blade Shape ~ with a beautiful Stag Handle and Rare Custom
Copper Guard for a very unique look.
Comes with a Right hand Jack Mosher Tooled Leather belt sheath, Stainless Rivets and Stitched.
Brass Riveted ~ this particular Sheath has Jack’s “Pigskin” Football Texture on the entire surface and has more Custom Tooling than most of his Sheaths
Here is what Mike says about his knives: “All my handle materials are hand cut and assembled with function and flow in mind. When the handles are completed they seem to melt into your hand like they belong there, the way a knife handle should”.
A Great Value for a Hand Forged Knife Direct from the Maker
