Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to be a Dealer for John Barker
There are few Makers who have have taken the challenge to grind in the style of the late Master Bob Lum. But John Barker has been doing just that for the past several years, turning out amazingly difficult grinds on his well balanced Asian influenced Fixed Blades. His work has appeared in almost every major publication.
This year John has worked very hard to offer his unique style of knife in a Folder and I was lucky to purchase a couple of his first folders at the recent Blade show.

This is John’s new Hokkaido Folder
Built on a full, thick Titanium Frame John has precision over layed Carbon Fiber with deeply Stonewashed Titanium Bolsters. But the main feature of this knife is the Nichols San Mai Stainless Damascus blade that is so superbly hand ground by John. Deep dual Hollow Grinds, deep top Swedges, a Razor Sharp edge and a thicker American Tanto / Penetrator Tip.
The action is extremely smooth and the lock up is absolutely spot on! Excellent detent keeps the blade closed but the well placed Thumb Stud allows for super fast opening. Everything about this knife is precise and clean, John’s work will only get more popular now that he is making folders!
Custom Large Titanium Clip is set for Tip Up and will allow the knife to ride deeply and discreetly in your pocket.
John has provided a quality Tan Maxpedition Zipper Storage pouch.
