Jody has a unique ability to blend artistic style into a usable blade application.
There is nothing stronger than an Integral Fixed Blade with a proper differential Heat Treat! One Single Piece of steel – without Joints to break or extraneous parts to loose.
This is a Full Sized – Single Edged – Modified Dagger with the Thumb falling naturally onto the Thumb Ridge area. The 5160 Steel Blade has a Differential Heat Treat with Draw Back which leaves the Cutting Edge sharper and the Handle Softer. The blade has a Full Height Hollow Grind with a Long Custom Swedge and Fine Point!
The Custom Contouring of the entire perimeter of the knife, and the discreetly etched name in front of the Thumb Rest area reflect Jody’s attention to detail. The upper and lower Finger Guards of the Integral Handle provide enough traction for a superior, comfortable grip.
If you want to choke up on the blade there is a Contoured Choil type area on the front of the handle.
The balance point on this tough knife is in the Mid Point of the handle – keeping the weight in the palm, exactly where you want it for a purpose built knife like this one.
This knife comes complete with a Custom Molded Kydex Boot or Belt sheath.
