Once in a while I get lucky. I met a knife Maker from Tennessee at last years BLADE show and his work just blew me away. I am very glad to now feature his work on my website, it was worth the wait.

James Sponaugle is a Retired Tool and Die Maker. The Tool and Die profession involves critical tolerances and quality work is paramount with each project. James applies the same attention to detail in his new career that was required in his previous one.
Just received – Direct from the Maker
This is a one off from James, he and I designed this knife to be an extra Large Loveless Drop point style – a crossover Large Game knife or tough all around Camp Knife. This is a beefy and recognizable Model that James will make by Special Order only!

- More than 1 1/4" Wide blade
- Contoured handle with Palm Swell
- Fully Tapered Tang, Red Liners and a Lined Thong Hole
- Flawless Hand Sandedfinish with a High Hollow Grind
- Stainless Steel Guard, impeccable Soldering job ~ appears to be one solid piece
Custom features like the aggressively Tapered Tang, beauitful Ironwood Scales and Red Liners need to be seen in person to appreciate.
