- Custom Contoured Stabilized Maple burl handle
- Fully Tapered Tang, Red Liners and a Lined Thong Hole
- Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Guard
- Silver Soldered Tang
This Sponaugle blade has an Labor Intensive Mirror Polished finish with beautiful Stabilized Maple Burl handle scales that have Tons of wonderful Grain.
The Silver Soldered Tang and the Precision Fit on the Stainless Guard is extremely well done.
James has taken the time to give this Full Tang knife an added feature ~ a deeply Tapered Tang with Red Liners. This is something that very few Makers add to their knives. Deeply Contoured handle scales provide a very Comfortable Full Grip handle.
James applies the same Extreme Attention to Detail in his new career as a Full Time Knife Maker that was required in his previous one.
Also, James Hand Stitches every Leather Sheath that he makes for his knives. This knife has a Thick Leather RH Belt Sheath.
