The beautiful Quince Wood Scales on this knife were Aged and have Amazing Grain and color
This knife has a Full Hidden Tang and it has a Comfortable Full Finger Grip. Hiroaki encloses the entire Tang in a Single Piece of Natural Micarta.
This Ohta Belt Knife is a Great Field or Stream knife with beautiful Stabilized Quince Wood Handle Scales. The Black Micarta Pins and Contoured Micarta Guard blend for a dramatic look.
The ATS-34 Blade has a Full Height Hollow Grind. Hiroaki performs his own expert Heat Treat & Cryo Quench that leaves the blade at 61-62 Rc. Perfect size for comfortable Belt Carry for an upscale EDC.
Hiroaki also makes his own thick, Hand Stitched Leather Sheaths, on this one he has added a new feature ~ a Full Kydex Lining.
This Ohta belt knife is a perfect fit and it “locks” into place due to the Kydex Liner, this knife will not even fall out if you Turn the Sheath Upside Down and shake it!
