Thys Hand Crafted this incredible Native Model Slipjoint with an expert eye toward material combination. He chose a wonderful combination of Black Micarta, Burlap Micarta and Copper!
Extremely smooth with excellent Spring Tension. The Burlap Micarta Bolster, the Black Micarta scales and the complimenting Copper Shield fit so perfectly together you cannot even feel the seams! Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily chore but elegant enough to stand out in any Collection.
The Blade has superb “Walk and Talk” and the Half Stop is very secure. The Bohler N690 Blade on this Thys Meades Native Slip Joint has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Finish and a Full Height Hollow Grind with Dramatic Custom Swedge.
Note the Joint of the Back Spring and the Frame material – Extremely Tight and precise.
This Thys Meades Native is smooth and tough at the same time. A very affordable Custom Folder that bridges the gap between Traditional and Modern!
