This is Rockstead’s latest Model, this is the New Ren model ~ an elegant yet Robust, Precision framelock folder
A Perfectly Ground Convex Blade of Solid ZDP 189 steel. I have seen thousands of knives ~ this knife has the most perfect Mirror Polished blade that I have ever seen. This is achieved through a Multi Step Hand Grinding and Hand Buffing process.
Rockstead uses the most modern equipment as well as the Most Skilled Craftsman to maximize the qualities of their Blades – be it the perfect grind or the Heat Treat of the Steel! Each knife has an individual Serial Number. The Action on the REN is incredibly Smooth and the sound of the Lock Up is much like a fine Mercedes Car door gently closing.

The blade Floats open effortlessly, perfect Detent and Excellent Secure lock up. One of the unique attributes of the REN is that it has a Replaceable Lock Face!
The ergonomics on this Knife are wonderful – Thumb Ridges on the Spine and the Frame aid the security but are still very comfortable.
Extremely impressive all the way around, a folder that looks great and would be a pleasure to use.
