Michael teamed up with Jason Knight to design this S1 with the Perfect Recurve blade.
Michael wanted an Authentic, aged appearance on the Anodized Titanium handle Scales which he accomplished by Applying a Thick Dark Nickel finish. The Frame has several light scratches and Snail Trails.
The S35VN Blade flips effortlessly due to the internal Bearings and Precision balance of the blade. This example has a Light Detent that may be corrected with a slight adjustment of the Pivot.
The Frame Lock incorporates a Hardened Steel, Replaceable Lock Face. Excellent Lock Up with Smooth Release and No Play in any direction.
The knife has a Near Full Length Titanium Backspacer that adds Strength to the frame and it extends just above the Frame to aid in grip retention.
The matching “Compass Rose” Clip on this Michael Zieba S1 allows for deep, discreet carry.
There is an Inscription on the clip that reads “40044’N + 73057’W” (this represents a Compass Rose).
