Marcin Kampka (MK Knives and Tools) is a young Multi Talented Engineer, Designer and Maker from Poland. Known for his clean, Angular Fixed Blade Designs and attention to detail, this example of his work showcases his talent.
This is Marcin’s instantly Recognizable MK-05 Kerambit
Each aspect of his knives are built with a purpose. The MK-05 is one of Marcin’s most recent models. This example has a Double Ground blade of Elmax Steel. Elmax is a Third Generation Powdered Metallurgy Steel.
This example has a Graduated Flat Grind for a Stronger Blade with a Distal Taper for Faster, Finer cutting toward the tip.
Uniform, Stonewashed finish will provide a life time of use without showing any abrasions.
Marcin explained to me that this is a One Of Kind piece ~ he will not repeat the Handle Configuration due to the time it took to Hand Drill for the Black G-10 Inserts
The Custom Desert Tan G-10 Handle is Ergonomically Contoured and Extremely Secure and Comfortable. Unique Dimpled Surface Texture provides a Sure Grip even under adverse conditions. Marcin Drilled the Holes by Hand to insert the Black G-10 Rods for a Break Up pattern on the handle.
This is a Full Tang knife that is .200 Thick at the Tang and almost 3/4″ Thick at the Handles. Very comfortable design for a Small to Medium sized Grip.
Note the almost Full Length Fuller and Swedge on the blade, this reduces the forward weight and makes the knife feel very fast in the hand.
The knife comes with Marcin’s Custom Molded Kydex sheath. The Current Setup is shown in a Left Hand Cross Draw position. The Industrial Grade Screws all have Micarta Washers for Noise Discipline. .

Custom & Interchangeable Configuration allows for a variety of Carry options. The Hole and Slot Pattern in the Kydex is designed for easy Adjustment to any chosen angle. The knife can also be carried Horizontally.
