I was very fortunate to begin working with several South African Knife Makers many years ago, I am continually impressed with the Quality of their knives and the value they offer. In my journey as a knife dealer several SA Makers have introduced me to other SA Makers and the list of quality knives that I sell from that country continues to grow.
The newest addition to my website is South African Knife Makers Guild member Johann van Deventer. His work has been featured in SA magazines devoted to Hunting but recently he has also worked hard at making folding knives of various kinds.

This is a wonderful Gentleman’s Flipper from JD Van Deventer. This is one of JD’s Lightest Models – a Sleek Discreet Model called the Pinstripe Deluxe Flipper in Electric Blue carbon Fiber.
The Hand Rubbed N690 blade flips open absolutely effortlessly due to the IKBS Bearing system, impeccable Detent and JD’s Precision Balance on the blade.
Fully contoured Carbon Fiber handles and Zirconium Bolsters are precision fit to the Titanium Frame. Only the best materials for this Little Powerhouse!
JD has also added a G10 Backspacer and Custom Anodized Titanium Liners.
