The blade on this Jaco de Kock Mini PL1 was Hand Ground from M390 and it has a Fine Distal Taper. It has one of the most Uniform Hand Rubbed Blades that I have seen. The Flats are Mirror Polished for a nice contrast.
The Detent on this example is perfect – the Blade Fires like a Rocket due to the wonderful Blade Balance and the Internal Bearing System. The Deep Thumb Recess in the Harpoon Blade makes for a very comfortable grip when open.
The Titanium Liner Locks extremely Secure ~ Very Smooth Release and absolutely no play in any direction.
