I am very excited to have the opportunity to offer Gus’s work on my website.
Gustavo Cecchini is world renowned for his precision knives. This is his new STYX Flipper with Zirconium Inlays ~ Gus made a point to say to me that is knife is a One of a Kind!
Noted on the COA as an R. Styx F/C Model. As you would expect the action is incredibly smooth and the design and size of the knife make it joy to hold. A hand filling design that is so comfortable in the hand.
The Frame and most all components are crafted by Gus from Solid Titanium with custom Milled accent areas. The entire Frame has a striking Dark Acid Washed Finish with precision inlaid Dual Matte Zirconium!
The Blade Grind on this Flipper is simply amazing! The profile of the blade is only part of the enjoyment, it really must be examined from all angles to appreciate the multiple Grinds. The blade has a Dark Double Stonewashed finish, which lends an overall uniformity to the knife.
The Blade leaps out of the frame with a gentle nudge of the Flipper and the Thick Frame lock up is perfect.
Gus gave this one a Hidden Hint of Color with some Anodized Titanium Standoffs.
This model also has Gus’s Flush / Integral Stainless Damascus pocket clip (Nichols Damascus).
An impressive futuristic design that is impeccable in Fit n Finish. “When only the best will do” certainly applies to this knife.
A pleasure to hold and I am sure it would be a pleasure to carry. Complete with one of GTC’s Padded Zipper Cases and a Certificate of Authenticity.
