This is a very unique Front Flipper Hand Crafted by Enrique Pena ~ not only is the First Sway Back Jack I have had from Enrique, but it is also the First Pena I have had that features a “Modified Gimp Shield”.
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily cutting ~ this Pena Sway Back Jack is a sleek updated design with evident Traditional Elements.
The Blade has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Satin Finish and a very High Hollow Grind with Custom Swedge. The Blade Flies open effortlessly with just a touch of the Flipper!
Very nice action, the blade glides open smoothly and the lock up is consistent ~ early and secure.
Enrique also gave this one a matching 1/2 Length Micarta Backspacer
A Wonderful and Innovative design, for those that Appreciate the Traditional Styling of a Slip Joint but also enjoy the updated Opening Mechanism of a Front Flipper.
