I was very fortunate to begin working with several South African Knife Makers many years ago, I am continually impressed with the Quality of their knives and the value they offer. In my journey as a knife dealer several SA Makers have introduced me to other SA Makers and the list of quality knives that I sell from that country continues to grow.
The newest addition to my website is South African Knife Makers Guild member Andre Thorburn.

Andre is known World Wide for his precision Flippers and the L-51 is one of his newest flipper models!
The blade was hand ground from tough N690 Stainless steel which Andre gave a beautiful Satin finish. The handle is a Custom Milled Carbon Fiber.
Perfect Detent, just a bit of pressure on the flipper mechanism causes the blade to Leap into the Open and Locked Position! Incredible action that will bring a smile to your Face!
The Integral Thumb Recess along with the subtle Thumb Ridges (which are continued onto the Ti Frame) make for a very comfortable Full Hand Grip.
Very Secure, Early lock up!
Fully Fileworked and Anodized Ti Liners with a Black G-10 backspacer.
Complete with a Low Rider Carbon Fiber Clip and a Velcro Storage Pouch.
