  I am pleased to introduce this new Custom Maker to the US Market.  Georgi started his knife making career at the age of 16.  He is still relatively young at 25 and he has enjoyed working with some of the best European knife Makers. He has built up a loyal following in his native land of Bulgaria and is now expanding to the US.  His work is well thought of by his peers and I am sure he will quickly secure a place among US Collectors.

This knife comes from a very large, Hand Selected collection of a great Customer of mine who recently passed away.  This collection contains many knives from Makers / Brands that I do not normally carry – I will list them all as time allows.

This particular knife was purchased directly from me and has never been used, carried or sharpened. 

Georgi Menchev is a young maker from Bulgaria. Georgi does not use any CNC or Computer Equipment in the crafting of his knives.  He makes each knife by Hand and is well known for his clean designs and attention to detail, this example of his work showcases his talent. 

 This is a Large Modified Clip Point ~ a beautiful, Hand Made knife that has more than enough blade for any Daily Cutting, Small to Medium Game or Light Camping chore. 

Here is a knife that embodies the true spirit of a Hand Made knife. Georgi Crafted the Handle using Gorgeous Dyed Stabilized Maple Burl that reminds me of a picture of Deep Space / Cosmic Galaxy. The Custom Stainless Steel Finger Guard is Mirror Polished with a Subtle Brass Spacer.  

The One Piece Handle is Deeply Contoured for a very comfortable Shape.  Larger and Thicker on top with Flat Sides and ending in a Tear Drop bottom.  When in the hand, the Fingers rest comfortably on the Flat Side Area and the smaller Tapered bottom of the handle fills the Palm. 

The RWL-34 Blade has a Graduated Hollow Grind with a Custom Swedge and a Subtle Distal Taper, the Two Tone Finish showcases Georgi’s Precision Grinding ability.  The blade measures a respectable .160 Thick and has a Rockwell of 60-61 Rc.  

This is a Wonderfully made, Robust Hunter that is meant to tackle any Game or Camp chore ~ just the size to carry comfortably into the woods.  

Georgi does excellent work and once this knife is Sold it will be several months before I can get another.
