I am excited to be apart of this Very Limited Edition of the PENA ~ X-Series Model – a small release of the most popular X Series Design with the addition of the Innovative Lee Williams “Kickstop” Flipper module AND some gorgeous Molten Lava – Fat Carbon
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily cutting ~ a wonderful EDC, Traditional Styling with Modern Materials.
This Limited Edition version incorporates both the Patented Lee Williams “Kickstop” Flipper Tab opening mechanism AND some exciting Molten Lava Carbon Fiber from Fat Carbon
This special mechanism is quite unique, the Flipper Tab is not a part of the blade tang, and is instead attached to the frame by a separate pin. This means that when the blade is closed the tab sticks out from the spine in the normal way, however after the knife opens (on the X-Series Ceramic Bearing System), the Tab rotates on the Pin to Conceal itself within the Handle!
For those that Appreciate the Traditional Styling of a Slip Joint but also enjoy the updated, Maintenance Free Materials that such a knife can provide. Note: these have the KickStop Mark on the reverse side of the blade.
