For those that demand the very best performance from their knives ~ here is an Incredible Custom Drop Point Hunter with some Amazing High End Steel!
This special knife has a crisp Full Height Hollow Ground Blade in Takefu’s Forged Shiro2 San Mai steel. During forging, Takefu utilizes a proprietary DPS (Depletion Prevention System) which adds a thin layer of Nickel between the Carbon Steel Core steel and the Stainless Cladding. The Nickel acts as a Barrier to stop carbon migration between the Carbon core and Stainless outer layers. The addition of Cr (Chromium) and Ni (Nickel) also ensures microstructural grain refinement.
Full Tang with comfortable Full Grip handle. The Shiro2 Steel has a Perfectly Centered Core and is one of the reasons that is so sought after.
The Handle on this Dan Crotts Custom Drop Point is Contoured with a slightly thicker middle, it provides a very comfortable Full Sized Grip with no hot spots. The Tough Chili Pepper Canvas Micarta has a Uniform Color with Polished Stainless Blind Bolts and Lined Lanyard hole.
