I was made aware of Piotr Gosciniak by the Owner of ZU Bladeworx who was so impressed with his work, that they will be offering a Limited Edition Collaboration knife soon (but more on that later).
Piotr is a young maker from Poland. Known for his unique Tactical and Hunting Knives as well as his attention to detail, this example of his work showcases his talent.
This is Piotr’s New Spider model – a knife that draws its heritage from several different Classic Styles. The Hand Ground Modified Tanto Blade is a Respectable .170 Thick, it has a Two Tone Finish with a Belt Sanded / Satin Bevel, a Near Full Height Flat Grind and Machine Satin Flats.
Bohler N690Co is a Cobalt Vanadium Steel and is similar in performance to VG-10. It is known for having the Extreme Toughness of High Carbon Steels, yet it also has the Perk of High Stain Resistance. Custom Thumb Ridges in just right location enhance the Grip of this Tough Blade.
This PG Knives Spider has a Very Comfortably Contoured, Full Grip Carbon Fiber Handle Scales held on with PVD Coated Torx Screws. The Handle has a Full Hand Filling Shape, best for a Medium to Large Grip.
This knife would make an Excellent Back Up / Tactical influenced EDC!
Piotr even makes his own Matching Custom Carbon Fiber Lanyard Beads. Excellent package and once this knife is Sold it will be several months before I can get another.
